On Wednesday, April 26th, Edlin had the honor and privilege in welcoming Lt. Governor Winsome Sears to speak with our students. She discussed a “Day in the life as Lt. Governor”. She also provided insight into her past including her time serving in the Marine Corps, her time in the Virginia House of Delegates, leading up to her becoming the first woman to serve as Lt. Governor of Virginia.
We are extremely thankful to Lt. Governor Sears for making time to speak with our students and encouraging them to keep working and striving to be the best version of themselves.
