Edlin held our Middle School Math Awards Ceremony today to give praise for all the hard work being put in throughout this school year. Our MathCounts team dedicated hours of practice after school twice a week for six weeks in preparation for the prestigious Fairfax Competition Chapter, and definitely deserve recognition for the time and effort they put in. They were truly on a journey of learning, growth, and success! We also honored the top 3 scorers in the AMC8 exam, an exam used to promote the development of problem solving skills.
Our Pi day contest winners were also announced, seeing which student could memorize the most digits of Pi. We had winners from each class in Middle School with the highest total being 80 digits!!!
We continue to be amazed and impressed at what our students can do when they put their minds to it!
