Armchair Fundraiser

This year, we’re trying a different type of fundraiser; an Armchair Fundraiser! We’re all busy families, and we hear your feedback that some of you would like a way to give directly and fully to the PTO. Direct donations would allow us to focus our efforts on providing quality events instead of planning fundraisers where some portion of the amount raised goes elsewhere. Our goal for this year is to raise $6,000.

WHAT’S AN “ARMCHAIR” FUNDRAISER AND HOW LONG DOES IT RUN?

It’s called an “Armchair Fundraiser” because you don’t need to leave your chair to support all of Edlin PTO’s educational, community-building, and culturally-enriching programs.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?

With the money raised by this fundraiser, we would like to replace our water fountains with water bottle filling stations (~$3,000) and support our Edlin community events like International Night, a Fun Run, and teacher appreciation events.

HOW MUCH DO YOU RECOMMEND I CONTRIBUTE?

The Armchair fundraiser is new this year and the only one in which nearly 100% of proceeds (minus credit card processing fees) go directly to school programs benefiting every student. If you can, we suggest $50 per student – but any gift goes a long way and no amount is too small. Some companies even match their employees’ donations so don’t forget to check in with your HR departments and just let them know our PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (documentation can be provided.)

Pizza Wednesdays!

Edlin PTO sponsors pizza lunch on each Wednesday.  If you are interested in signing your child up, please:

  1. Complete the Form
  2. Pay electronically or submit a check payable to “Edlin PTO” and with “Edlin Pizza” in the memo section to the PTO drop box (the front entrance of the school)

This program is run 100% by parent volunteers.  Please email us with any questions you have about Pizza Wenesdays at edlinpizzaparent@gmail.com.

Shop For Us

There are a number of different opportunities that allow us to direct rebates to Edlin School as we do our regular shopping. Schools earn thousands of dollars each year by promoting this simple approach. The Edlin PTO has selected businesses that are accessible to our community. We hope you will participate and renew your registration today.

Uniform Exchange

Edlin PTO typically holds a Uniform Exchange 2 to 3 times throughout the school year.  You may exchange 1:1, donate $5 for one item or 5 for $20. 

We accept Edlin logo tops, dresses and jumpers only. We do not accept any pants or skirts.  Please, only uniforms in good condition. We do not accept items with stains, holes, incorrect or missing logos.

Dress Code

The Edlin School uniform is required to be worn Monday-Thursday with non-uniform clothing being optional on Friday.

There are lots of different ways parents can get involved, and we make involvement easy. We have many fun and exciting volunteer opportunities every year and with Edlin PTO there is something that’s sure to appeal to everyone.
