Four eighth graders from Edlin School demonstrated their First-Tech Regional Championship Robotics entry to several classes.
Their robotic entry took about 2 months to build and consists of five remotely controlled motors that manipulate the wheels, the arm, and the claw.
The robot requires two team members to work two game-boy control devices in coordination to operate the robot.
A few of those in the audience were given the opportunity to control the robot and with a little practice were able to maneuver to a gray foam cube, lift the cube and place the cube in a designated slot.
The First-Tec Regional Championship will be held in February 2018. All of Edlin School the students and staff wish the Robotic team great success. We like robotics. Do you? Come join us!
